A young woman’s death is humanity’s hounding loss. Such saying on the value of women to society’s future is much felt as a 22-year-old lady was killed in an LA car crash on Monday.

How many more young women need to lose lives on already hazardous LA roads? Isn’t it time for city officials to take drastic measures to correct danger on freeways?

According to Los Angeles police reports, a young lass was killed after a single roll over crash at Century Boulevard and Broadway on Monday at 1:41 a.m.

Darleen Rosemary Monarrez was riding with three other occupants in a car when the accident occurred. The driver lost control on the wheels and had the car rolled over on downtown Los Angeles, reports said.

Monarrez didn’t survive her injuries. On the other hand, the driver was listed in critical condition at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. The two other occupants sustained minor injuries.

As soon as the driver recovers from his injuries, he will be facing penalties for driving under the influence (DUI) and vehicular manslaughter.

The parents of Monarrez can hold not just the driver responsible for the accident, but the City of Los Angeles as well. The parents can argue the numerous crash cases on LA roads and assert damages for Premises Liability.

A lawsuit filed against the government can yield limited damages, but nevertheless it will provide payment for the surviving family’s losses.

If you lost a loved one due to the negligent act of the driver or the City Official, you can consult with a car accident lawyer in Los Angeles. Your attorney will help you go through the legal process.
